The Flora by Gucci Garden Collection is a reference to a real piece of glamour history. In the 60's, Gucci created a scarf for Princess Grace of Monaco. Designer Vittorio Accornero created it for her, and the design has since become famous. The five fragrances of the collection include the five most important blossoms featured in the design of Grace Kelly's scarf. Created by Frida Giannini, they are Glorious Mandarin, Gracious Tuberose, Gorgeous Gardenia, Glamorous Magnolia and Generous Violet. Composing the five fragrances, it was important to Giannini that every one of them represent a different facet of the same woman. "Glorious Mandarin because there's a sort of euphoria in mandarin, since it's such a sparkly fruit."
Top notes are peony, mandarin and orange. Heart notes are jasmine and Pina Colada extract. Base notes are woodsy notes with musk and amber.
