Vera Wang is a Chinese-American fashion designer who is famous for her unique wedding dresses. Wang was a promising young figure skater, but when she did not qualify for the Winter Olympics, she decided to leave the sport and dedicated her life to fashion. She was the youngest ever editor to join the staff of Vogue, when she was offered a job at the age of just 23. Wang opened a boutique in New York in 1990 and has become known as a designer of wedding dresses that every woman standing in front of the altar desires.
The brand's first fragrance, Vera Wang for Women, was launched in 2002. Many of the brand's fragrances are wedding-themed, such as Sheer Veil and Bouquet. The most popular is Princess, which was released in 2006 and has inspired many new Vera Wang fragrances.
