Trussardi is an Italian fashion and lifestyle brand that celebrated its centenary in 2011. The Trussardi house of fashion was founded by Dante Trussardi in 1911 and at first, the brand's aim was to produce luxury gloves, which quickly became very popular. Greater recognition came after Dante's granddaughter, Nicola, took over the firm. She updated the logo and broadened the brand's range to include handbags, suitcases, accessories, and leather jackets. Currently, Trussardi is under the fourth generation of family management, with Beatrice Trussardi responsible for entering the beauty market.
Trussardi's first eau de parfume, Trussardi for Women, was released in 2005, and although Nicola Trussardi did not live to see the launch of the fragrance, having died in a car accident in 1991, her mark is on the product too, as she designed the fragrance bottle.
